I have presented numerous writing workshops (both fiction and nonfiction) and critique sessions at libraries, schools, and social clubs. I am able to speak on a variety of writing topics and would love the opportunity to do so for you and your group at upcoming events.

Book Release & Bookstore Ribbon-Cutting

Millie Magoo's & The Fine Print, Walnut Plaza, Lakeside, OH
Come celebrate the "Book Birthday" of Brenda's novel. Ribbon-cutting for Lakeside's unique and newly-renovated independent bookstore, Millie Magoo's & The Fine Print, will take place at 10 am. Brenda's Author Book Signings and other bookish activities occur 10 am - 4 pm. Grand opening fun for all ages.

Every person, place, and experience we come in contact with leaves an impression. Brenda Haas reflects on her writing journey and creatively documenting her past by putting memories on the page — be they humorous, sad, or something entirely different. Brenda will discuss writing nonfiction personal essays and incorporating aspects of her real-life story and its “characters” into her fiction plots. Presentation and book signing.
